Question 5

Have you found yourself struggling with any habitual sin? We heard that our sins are forgiven and God loves us no matter what!  That doesn’t mean he wants us to live in habitual sin though, it means that His grace is sufficient for all our faults/missteps that we make (and we all make them!). What is that step of faith that you can take right now to eliminate that habitual sin in your life?  Do you need to share it with someone (bring it out of the dark and into the light so others can support you)? Do you need to disassociate yourself with something/someone to remove the sin?  What step can you take right now to begin that journey to freedom over any habitual sin you might have?

Question 6

Rahab is mentioned not only in the Hall of Faith in Hebrews, but also listed in the Genealogy of Christ in Matthew.  A prostitute who is forever recorded in history because of her faith and the action you took to show that faith.  While some may think it morbid to think about your obituary, let’s do it anyway.  How will you be described?  What will you be remembered for?  Will your faith in Christ be known by those who come to celebrate your life, or will they be surprised to hear that you were a Christian?  Write out a few words here that you believe will be used to describe you. Are those words you want to hear?  How can we alter our legacy today?

Question 7

When was the last time that you reflected on God’ direction for your life? Take some time now to do that. Where is God leading you- where is God asking you to step out in faith?  What and who is He putting in your life that is helping you take that next step.
